Ordering your child's first big bed is an exciting milestone, and we believe you should always know exactly how your order is progressing.
As soon as you place your order, you'll receive access to your own personal tracking page, where you can follow your bed's journey from production through to delivery. Unlike traditional order tracking, our updates begin long before your bed is dispatched, giving you complete visibility throughout the manufacturing process.
We'll also keep you informed with regular email and SMS updates, so you'll always know what stage your order has reached without needing to chase for information.
Handcrafted to Order
Every First Big Bed is carefully handcrafted to your chosen specification in our specialist European workshops.
Before leaving the workshop, each bed undergoes quality checks to ensure it meets the standards we'd expect for our own families.
Because every bed is made especially for you, production takes time—but we believe exceptional quality is always worth the wait.
Estimated lead times are displayed on each product page and confirmed once your order has been placed.
Tracked Delivery
Once your order has completed production and is ready to leave our workshop, we'll notify you via your tracking page, email and SMS.
All orders are sent using fully tracked delivery services, allowing you to follow your shipment right through to delivery.
Depending on the size of your order and your location, we work with a carefully selected network of trusted delivery partners, including national parcel carriers and specialist furniture delivery companies. This allows us to choose the most suitable service for your order while ensuring your furniture arrives safely.
Before Your Delivery
Some larger furniture deliveries may require a delivery appointment.
Where applicable, your delivery partner will contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date.
Before your delivery arrives, we recommend ensuring:
- Someone aged 18 or over is available to accept the delivery.
- There is suitable access to your property.
- Any access restrictions are communicated to us before dispatch.
When Your Order Arrives
We recommend checking your order shortly after delivery to ensure everything has arrived safely.
If you notice any missing parts or damage during transit, simply contact our Customer Care Team. We'll investigate the issue quickly and work with you to provide the most appropriate solution.
