Returns

We genuinely hope you'll love your First Big Bed.

Because many of our beds are individually handcrafted to your chosen specification, our returns process differs slightly from retailers selling mass-produced furniture.

Made-To-Order Furniture

Most First Big Bed products are manufactured specifically for your order.

This includes your chosen:

  • Size

  • Finish

  • Colour

  • Guard rail layout

  • Opening position

  • Storage options

As these products are made especially for you, they are generally exempt from standard distance selling cancellation rights under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Changed Your Mind?

If you need to amend or cancel your order, please contact us immediately.

We allow a 72-hour amendment period before production begins wherever possible.

Once manufacturing has started, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Goodwill Returns

Where we agree to accept the return of a made-to-order product, the furniture must:

  • Be unused

  • Not be assembled

  • Be complete

  • Be returned in its original packaging

  • Be suitable for resale

Collection charges may apply.

Mattresses

For hygiene reasons, opened mattresses, pillows, duvets and bedding cannot be returned unless faulty.

Faulty Products

If your furniture develops a manufacturing fault, please contact us.

We'll always aim to resolve problems quickly and fairly in accordance with your statutory rights.

Refunds

Where refunds are due, these will be processed using your original payment method.

Banks typically return funds within 7–10 working days.
